Thanks for a great tour!
Thank you for everything! After more than 36 states and countless cities, the Smithsonian's "Animal Connections: Our Journey Together" tour has come to a close. From state fairs to convention centers, veterinary schools, and zoos across the nation, the colorful "Animal Connections" traveling truck exhibition introduced visitors of all ages to the complex bond between humans and animals. Created to inspire the next generation of veterinarians, the exhibit used a dynamic combination of interactive learning stations, films and touch screen videos, and three-dimensional settings to explore topics about animals in the home, on the farm, in the wild, at the zoo, and in the veterinary clinic. See the many places the truck traveled, and get a look at some of the fun memories!
Presented by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) to mark the 150th anniversary of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the project was made possible through the generous support of the American Veterinary Medical Foundation and of founding sponsor Zoetis.
