The American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) is excited to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the American Veterinary Medical Association by joining the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service, Zoetis, and the American Veterinary Medical Association in supporting “Animal Connections: Our Journey Together”. This traveling exhibit will give visitors of all ages a truly unforgettable experience by introducing them to the complex and unique bond between humans and animals.
For over 50 years, The AVMF has served as the charitable arm of the American Veterinary Medical Association through embracing and advancing the well-being and medical care of animals. The AVMF is dedicated to designing programs that benefit veterinary medicine, promote animal well-being, educate the public, and enhance research, so that veterinarians and animal lovers are prepared to deal with difficult problems facing animal health today and in the future.
