Zoetis is proud to join the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and the American Veterinary Medical Association in supporting Animal Connections: Our Journey Together, an exciting mobile exhibition devoted to the vast and multi-faceted relationship between people and animals. Developed to inspire future generations of veterinary professionals, the exhibit explores and celebrates the enduring bond we all share with animals – from pets to livestock to animals in the wild – and the vital role that veterinarians play. The exhibit will be open to the public free of charge beginning in July 2013.
As a leading global company with a singular focus on animal health, Zoetis affirms its commitment to veterinarians as we strive to enhance the understanding of the vital role veterinarians play in protecting animal health and, in so doing, safeguarding human health. Zoetis aims through the Animal Connections exhibition to help educate and inspire young people to pursue careers in veterinary medicine and allied professions dedicated to raising and caring for animals in our homes, on farms, at zoos and in the wild.
At Zoetis, we work every day to better understand and address the real-world challenges faced by those who raise and care for livestock and companion animals in ways they find truly relevant. Building on a 60-year history as the animal health business of Pfizer, Zoetis, now an independent public company, discovers, develops, manufactures and markets animal vaccines and medicines, complemented by diagnostic products and genetic tests and supported by a range of technical services. Zoetis, with world headquarters in Florham Park, New Jersey, has operations in more than 70 countries and markets its products in more than 120 countries.
